〜水辺清掃活動での嬉しい再会〜
先日、私たちが取り組んでいる水辺の清掃活動中に、とても嬉しい出来事がありました。活動中、周囲を散策されていた男性の方にご挨拶を致しましたところ、偶然にも、昨年冬の清掃活動の際に応援の言葉をかけてくださった方でした。私たちのことを覚えていて頂けたことに驚くとともに、沢山の地元に関するお話や、励ましのお言葉を頂き大変嬉しく思いました。地域の皆様に頂く温かいお言葉全てが、私たちが活動を続けていく大きな原動力になっています。

それは、決して大きなイベントやプロジェクトからばかりでなく、今回のような何気ない挨拶から始まる小さな心の交流からこそ、人の温もりを感じ、心がつながるスタートラインを作れるのではと感じております。これからも、私たちの活動を通して出会う皆様との心の交流を大切に、一歩ずつ歩んで参ります。
~A Happy Reunion During a Waterfront Cleanup~
Something truly delightful happened the other day while we were conducting a cleanup activity along the waterfront. We greeted a man who was strolling nearby, and it turned out—by sheer coincidence—to be the same person who had offered us words of encouragement during a cleanup last winter. We were surprised and deeply touched that he remembered us, and we were delighted to hear his many stories about the local area and receive his words of support. The warm words we receive from the community serve as a powerful driving force that keeps us going in our activities.

I believe that the starting point for feeling human warmth and forging genuine connections often lies not only in major events or projects, but in small, heartfelt interactions—such as the casual greetings we exchanged this time. Moving forward, we will continue to take things one step at a time, cherishing the connections we build with everyone we meet through our activities.
